We start where God Himself begins: with the First Commandment.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"292\" data-end=\"565\">This series is titled <strong data-start=\"314\" data-end=\"326\">FLOURISH<\/strong> because God\u2019s commandments are not arbitrary restrictions but life-giving instructions. In keeping them, human life finds its proper shape and purpose. Scripture teaches that obedience to God is not opposed to joy\u2014it is the pathway to it.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"567\" data-end=\"884\">If you want to live your best life now\u2014not in the shallow sense of self-fulfillment, but in the deep, lasting way God intends\u2014then learn to obey God\u2019s commandments.
